Teen Workshop Descriptions

Created or Evolved: Does it REALLY Matter? And We're Blowing Stuff Up with Science and Scripture!
Seventy percent of the kids that grow up in Christian homes walk away from Christianity for reasons that are unscientific or illogical, and they all begin with one basic question, “Were we CREATED or did we EVOLVE and does it matter?” The answer matters! Students will be entertained and educated as Eric Hovind, President of Creation Today, lets you experience creation and see how you can know the truth. You’ll also blow stuff up with science and scripture.

Apologetics in Evangelism followed by Q&A
Talking to others about our faith can be both scary and thrilling at the same time. What tactics can be employed to effectively engage family and friends that will influence them for eternity? Are you afraid of their questions and reactions? Eric Hovind shares sound biblical advice reminding us that while discovering answers for ourselves is exciting, giving answers in a godly way is what God has called us to do!

The Mind of the Skeptic
Take a high-energy journey examining Christian beliefs from the skeptic’s perspective. With practical, real-life on-the-street examples, quotes from the skeptics themselves, and Scripture, Eric lets you see the atheist’s mind-set from a different viewpoint. Learn how to understand and approach both the mind and the heart of the skeptic.

Science and Scripture: I'm On Fire!
Watch Eric Hovind and Alan Smith vividly demonstrates some of our Creator’s scientific laws in this explosive session of exciting science experiments! You’ll make air cannons, set stuff on fire, and learn eternally-impacting scriptural truths all at the same time. You’ll never forget this experience!

Ambassadors for Christ
As Christians, we are called to represent Christ to the world as His ambassadors. Emeal Zwayne, President of Living Waters, who has been passionately sharing the gospel with people around the world for more than twenty years, will explore this extraordinary calling, and how to effectively fulfill it for the glory of God.

God's Glory!
In the midst of great trial, sorrow, or suffering, have you questioned whether God is even real? Eric did. In his most-requested, intimate and personal message, Eric takes you on a journey into the reality of God Himself. This session tackles the tough questions each of us asks about life but often fail to answer. Its powerful truth will propel you to take an honest look at what you really believe about God.

Eric Hovind

Eric Hovind grew up immersed in the world of apologetics and following college graduation in Eric Hovind1999, he began full-time ministry. President and Founder of Pensacola-based organization, Creation Today, Eric’s passion to reach people with the life-changing message of the Gospel has driven him to speak in five foreign countries and all fifty states. He lives in Pensacola, Florida with his wife Tanya and three children and remains excited about the tremendous opportunity to lead an apologetics ministry in the war against evolution and humanism. Much like a 21st-century Apostle Paul on Mars Hill, in June of 2013, Eric stood on the first monument to atheism in America to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the atheist community. In 2011, Eric launched The Creation Today Show. More than 100 episodes are broadcasting on three continents equipping thousands to continue battling the anti-Christ, anti-Bible spirit that consumes today's culture with the absolute truth of God's Word, beginning in Genesis.

Teen Convention Coordinators

Throughout All Ages Ministries/Joe and Stacey Gaona

Throughout All Ages Ministries, has unique beginnings. As devout Christians for twenty-five years serving in many ministries of the church, we found ourselves in a peculiar place. Joe and Stacey haveJoe and Stacey Gaona been married since 1994, with three children who have all grown up. We came to a place in our lives where the question was raised, when does our community become our place, our desire, our commandment to go and share the Gospel to a lost and dying world? When does it become my provocation? That we would stir the body to love and good works?

Jesus said you will be my witnesses. It is here with much intimidation and fear we began with new glasses. Questions like, why haven’t I learned to witness to a lost and dying world? Spending much time in church and Bible studies, why wasn’t my fellow Christians and I stepping out into the world and presenting the Gospel? If I truly believe in heaven and hell, why am I so complacent? As the years followed, we learned the difference between ministries and being aTAAM witness. From letting your light so shine before men, to finding a place where we can actually become fishers of men.

Our Aim Is Apologetics, Polemics, and Evangelism

We believe in the common creed, to contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. The inspired, infallible, and inerrant Scriptures. To learn more, visit ThroughoutAllAgesMinistries.com.
