A shy firstborn forced them to begin reading books and attending conferences to learn more about it. Now, after seven years of learning alongside their four children, they couldn't imagine teaching their kids any other way. Utilizing their homeschooling journey and Joey's experience teaching high school science (including a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction), they have blended Raymond Moore's formula of study, work, and service and Charlotte Mason's philosophies, into an experience, project, and literature-based way of learning. Over the last few years, they have also provided support to the homeschool community through teaching gardening classes, consulting, and operating a PSP, Kinderfarm Academy. You can read more about them and how God has led in their family's journey at www.kinderfarmhomeschool.com.
