Description
In a time when we see great political turmoil and partisanship and the rise of grass roots movements, such as the Tea Party, to try to give “We the People” more say in our government, it is critical that we teach the principles of limited government and representative democracy to our children. All of these principles are laid out in our nation’s founding documents—the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. If we do not teach these principles, there is no doubt that our country will continue to slide into more government control which leads to loss of freedom.
