Workshops

Why I’m Glad I Was Homeschooled (and Why Your Kids Will Be Too), Daniel Craig
Parents considering homeschooling often worry about whether or not their children will turn out “normal.” They wonder if their children will emerge from homeschool truly prepared for success in life, or if they’ll emerge socially inept and uneducated. In this session, Daniel Craig, a homeschool graduate, will share why he is glad he was homeschooled, and why your children will be too. Based on both his personal experience, and the unchanging truths of God’s word, Daniel will help you understand what homeschool “success” really is, where it comes from, and the real reason it matters.

Intro to Home Education, John McGowan & Nathan Pierce
Making the decision to educate at home is only the first of many decisions. This session reviews the options, defines them, and offers criteria for deciding which one is right for your family. This is the perfect opportunity to investigate home education with no cost or obligation. (Although registration is required for admission to all parts of the Convention, there is no charge for this Mini-Con).

Exhibit Hall Preview
We invite you to attend attend either or both of the first two sessions (Keynote, Intro Session), but in order to participate in the third session (Exhibit Hall Preview), families must attend Part II – Introduction to Home Education.
