Aimee McNally received an unprecedented 44 individual nominations for CHEA’s Support Network Leader of the Year award. The nominations praised her dedication and commitment to the homeschooling community she helps lead. Aimee has led Bay Area Schools in Christ (BASIC) support group in Santa Clara County for the past ten years while homeschooling her own four children.

“I love Aimee’s heart for her families; it’s evident in her email signature: BASIC’s servant leader. It’s a heart attitude we all would do well to emulate. It was our  privilege and delight to honor this special lady this year,” said Rebecca Kocsis, CHEA’s Support Network Director.img_4391-1

“Aimee is such a energetic, caring, talented, patient, organized, faithful, and hard working servant of God, who leads our group to follow Jesus in our daily journey of homeschooling,” Marcella.

“She is a great leader, loves the Lord and is passionate about private homeschooling.” Yin Yee.

“She is an incredible leader and has blessed me and my family immensely, as well as our entire homeschool community!” Jane.

“The support and organization is superb.  It wasn’t until about 6 months ago that I learned of a servant leader named Aimee McNally. She is the driving force behind this amazing program.  She has field trips that take us out on old merchant ships, into zoos and out trekking and digging for gold. The experiences we have with BASIC are far beyond my homeschool imagination ever went. Every 2nd Monday of the month she arranges for a speaker to help educate and inspire us. I am blessed with these talks and exchanges. From graduate homeschool panels to purity and health and how to maintain those records and schedules. I am so blessed to be a part of this wonderful group which Amiee leads.” Jeanne

Aimee received her award July 7 at CHEA’s Annual Leadership Conference luncheon at the Pasadena Convention Center. Aimee and her husband Michael have four children, ages 16, 15, 12 and 7, and they have been homeschooling for 13 years.

Aimee also manages CHEA’s Pinterest page as a volunteer and will soon help with its Instagram account as well.
