Since 1984, CHEA has been hosting an annual homeschool event that features workshops for homeschoolers at all stages, an exhibit hall with curriculum, resources, and services, children's and teen conventions, high school graduation, and much more. Conference Discounts

CHEA is pleased to offer discounts to the following groups. Please note the eligibility requirements.

To take advange of these offers, please contact the CHEA Office at 562-864-2342 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, to confirm eligibility and receive the discount code to use when registering. The office will be able to answer any questions you may have as well.

Please note that Pastors & Parents of Preschoolers discounts are limited in quantity and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Active Duty Military
& First Responders

  • As a thank you for your service, we are offering a 20% discount on all conference registrations, including Family Registration, Children’s & Teen Conventions, and Thursday classes
  • Must show ID at conference check-in
  • Discount available through Wednesday, July 12, 2023 (not available at the door)

Pastors

  • Free Family Registration to 2023 Parenting & Homeschool Conference
  • Eligibility:
    • Never attended a CHEA Annual Convention
    • Currently serving a congregation
    • Pastor must attend the conference
  • Must provide church name and position; may be asked to provide business card or other verification
  • Limited availability; first-come, first-served

Parents of Preschoolers

  • $40 Family Registration to 2023 Parenting & Homeschool Conference
  • Eligibility:
    • Never attended a CHEA Annual Convention

Volunteers

Our event could not happen without the help of many volunteers. Whether you are able to help for a few hours or all weekend, we would love to have you join our volunteer team this year. Volunteers are needed for registration, Children’s Convention, Conferece Greeters, workshop hosts, prep work prior to the event, and more.

  • Volunteers who serve 8 hours or more receive a free Family Registration.
  • Volunteers who serve less than 8 hours will receive 1 free audio recording of their choice for every 2 hours served.
  • We welcome responsible teen volunteers and can issue a certificate of participation upon request.
